Abstract
This article from Sky & Telescope provides information about the celestial bodies 2 Pallas and Comet 13P/Olbers. 2 Pallas is the second asteroid discovered and was named after the Greek goddess Athena. It has a water-rich composition similar to the dwarf planet Ceres and is the third-largest minor planet. Pallas has an eccentric orbit and will have an opposition in May 2024, shining at 9th magnitude in western Hercules. It can be observed with binoculars or a small telescope.
