Abstract
This article presents three tips for businesses when incorporating generative artificial intelligence for customer relations. The tips are based on the authors’ book “Connected Strategy: Building Continuous Customer Relationships for Competitive Advantage” and include using the technology to complement, not replace, existing capabilities. Topics include large language models and the theme of recognize, request and respond in the customer journey.
