Abstract
The article discusses the impact of the Waters of the U.S. (WOTUS) regulations revised by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) under the Clean Water Act (CWA) on the U.S. states in the Arid West region. It explored the scope of CWA jurisdiction, the implementation of the decision issued on the U.S. Supreme Court case Sackett v. EPA in the Arid West, and the regulation of pollutant discharge in waters within the borders of Arid West states.
