Abstract

A study conducted by China Nuclear Power Engineering Co. Ltd. explored the impact of personal states and personality traits on the work performance of commissioning workers in nuclear power plants. The research, which involved 101 participants, found that perceptual speed, visual selective attention, and executive control before work were significantly correlated with self-rated work performance. The study highlighted the moderating effects of the interaction between personal states and personality traits, with mindfulness playing a prominent role. This research provides valuable insights for the selection and support of commissioning workers, emphasizing the importance of appropriate personality traits and robust personal states in enhancing work performance.
