Abstract

The article describes the development of AZRA, an augmented reality system that enhances older robot pets and toys with lifelike behaviors and emotional responses to provide more engaging, pet-like interactions. Topics include augmented reality in robotics, emotional simulation for interactive toys; and reducing electronic waste through extended device use.
