Abstract

This article summarizes a special issue of the International Journal of Applied Electromagnetics and Mechanics (IJAEM) focused on computational electromagnetics, particularly for low-frequency applications. It highlights key research trends such as multi-physics (coupled field) modeling using 2D and 3D Finite Element Models, the integration of machine learning techniques for field problem analysis, and the design of efficient electrical machines and wireless power transfer systems. The issue emphasizes collaboration between academia and industry to address technical challenges through advanced numerical methods and cost-effective, user-friendly tools. Overall, the collection presents an updated overview of contemporary computational approaches to electromagnetic device design and analysis.
