Abstract
The article focuses on recent advancements in military and aerospace technologies, highlighting three key products. The Ops-Core NOMAD System is a lightweight, collapsible head harness designed to provide Special Operations Forces and law enforcement with a stable platform for mounting night vision and visual augmentation devices without the bulk of traditional helmets. Curtiss-Wright and Green Hills Software introduced a high-performance commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solution combining Curtiss-Wright's SOSA-aligned V3-1222 3U VPX processing module with Green Hills' FACE-certified INTEGRITY-178 tuMP real-time operating system, enabling safety-certifiable multicore computing for avionics systems requiring the highest levels of functional safety and airworthiness certification. AeroVironment's Mission Specialist Wraith is a compact unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) offering six-degree-of-freedom maneuverability and modular payload support, designed for precise subsea operations in challenging environments.
