Abstract

The Conservation Alliance is a coalition of outdoor-oriented businesses that aims to protect threatened wild places in North America for their habitat and recreational values. They are currently accepting funding proposals for environmental preservation and habitat protection projects in North America. Grants of up to $50,000 are available for nonprofit organizations with a 501(c)(3) status, and priority is given to projects that benefit habitat, engage grassroots citizen action, have a recreational benefit, and can be successfully completed within four years. Nominations are due by May 1, and completed applications are due by June 1. [Extracted from the article]
