Abstract
The article presents a memoir of the author's experience of growing up near the Mississippi River in St. Louis, Missouri and going to PT's strip club in Sauget, Illinois. Topics discussed include the way he and his friends managed to meet the twin sisters that performed pole dancing at the club, the assistance offered by a police officer after they got lost on the drive home, and his observations on the industrial factors which contributed to the water pollution in the Mississippi River.
