Abstract

A major fuel-production unit at Nigeria's Dangote oil refinery is currently undergoing maintenance, impacting regional trade flows. Despite a denial from a Dangote spokesman, the plant continues to load fuel onto trucks daily for the domestic market. The maintenance of the residue fluid catalytic cracker, with a capacity of about 200,000 barrels a day, has halted gasoline and diesel exports since April 14, while a recent gasoline shipment from India arrived at the port. The refinery's crude distillation unit remains unaffected by the maintenance. [Extracted from the article]
