Abstract

Kelp forests are important marine ecosystems that provide food, shelter, and protection for many species. They are also culturally significant to Indigenous peoples and have economic value through commercial cultivation and aquaculture. However, kelp forests are facing threats from climate change and other environmental pressures, which can lead to their degradation and loss. Researchers are studying the biodiversity and structure of kelp forests to better understand their current status and anticipate future conditions. This research aims to conserve these habitats and the diverse communities that depend on them. [Extracted from the article]
