Abstract
The article "Comment on 'Estimation of actual evapotranspiration from different ecosystems on the Tibetan Plateau based on a generalised complementary evapotranspiration theory model'" by Jozsef Szilagyi critiques the methodology used by Dai et al. in their study on evapotranspiration rates on the Tibetan Plateau. Szilagyi points out that Dai et al. did not follow a necessary step in their analysis, which may have impacted their conclusions. The study was supported by various funding sources in Hungary.
