Abstract
The carbon emissions produced by medical staff travelling to the peripheral clinics were added to the carbon emissions produced by the patients attending the peripheral clinics. Satellite clinics have many benefits; clinic attendance is improved because of reduced travel costs, shorter travel times and hospital familiarity. The number of carbon emissions produced by patients travelling to the peripheral hospital was 1.87 tonnes. [Extracted from the article]
