Abstract
Uzbekistan's state-owned oil and gas company, Uzbekneftegaz, is interested in joining the Shah Deniz gas condensate project in Azerbaijan. The Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, stated that discussions are underway for Uzbekneftegaz's involvement in the project, and he hopes that the necessary documents will be signed in the coming months. The Shah Deniz project has been active since 1996 and is expected to continue until 2046.
