Abstract
The article highlights how park and recreation agencies are using nature-based solutions to strengthen environmental resilience and community well-being. Topics include post-disaster recovery efforts in Lake Charles using green infrastructure for flood mitigation, restoration of native habitats and water systems through park projects, and the role of partnerships and community education in building long-term climate resilience.
