Abstract
The article examines the existence of sects among Muslims despite their belief in One God, One Messenger and One Book, which is the Quran. It attributes the sectarianism to the use of different Hadiths for conflicting interpretations of Quranic verses. It discusses the difference in the compilation of the Quran and Hadiths and stresses the duty of the Muslim Ummah to revive the Quran, uphold the teachings of the Prophet and reaffirm the Rightly Guided Caliphs.
