Abstract
The article focuses on *Reclaiming the Americas: Latinx Art and the Politics of Territory* by Tania Reinosa, which examines how Latinx artists use printmaking to explore and reclaim contested notions of land, territory, and identity. Reinosa situates Latinx printmaking within its sociopolitical context and art historical frameworks, highlighting its interethnic and crossracial coalitional nature and its dialogue with Latin American graphic traditions. The book analyzes works from key printmaking workshops and artists, connecting them to histories of colonization, mapping, and conceptual debates around mestizaje and indigeneity. It also discusses the evolving role of print media in Latinx art activism, including its presence in major exhibitions like the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s *¡Printing the Revolution!*, emphasizing both continuities with social movements and innovations in technique and aesthetics.
