Abstract
The Repertory of Welsh Manuscripts and Scribes by Daniel Huws is a three-volume catalog that provides detailed information about over 3,000 manuscripts from the Welsh tradition dating from the eighth to the eighteenth centuries. It includes information about the composition, scribes, dates, owners, and physical makeup of the manuscripts, as well as a register of scribes with biographical accounts. The Repertory is highly regarded as a valuable resource for research and teaching in Welsh manuscript studies and has made a significant impact on scholarship in the field. Volume III of the Repertory also includes plates showing specimens of Welsh script from the eighth century to the 1800s. It is a valuable tool for researchers and scholars interested in Welsh manuscript culture. [Extracted from the article]
