Abstract

The article discusses that the Nous Foundation, dedicated to preserving French and Creole culture, has received a grant from the Library of Congress to update and diversify its Cajun and Creole music archives. Through their project "La Musique Nous Réunit," artists like Louis Michot and Leyla McCalla will record new music, capturing the diversity of dialects and expressions while addressing language loss, with plans for a multi-media exhibit in 2025.
