Abstract

The Hollywood Stagehands Union, representing 45,000 stagehands, editors, and other film and TV workers, will resume talks with studios in early June for a new contract. The discussions will cover retirement and health benefits, the use of artificial intelligence, wages, and working conditions. Another group of about 20,000 workers will begin contract negotiations on May 20. Last year, Hollywood studios and their workers were affected by a strike by actors and writers, which halted production. [Extracted from the article]
