Abstract

The article focuses on research conducted in Szczecin, Poland, examining the relationship between health-related behaviors and quality of life among individuals practicing karate, football, and physical recreation. The study involved 500 participants aged 18-50 and utilized standardized questionnaires, including the Health Behavior Inventory (HBI) and WHOQOL-BREF (World Health Organization Quality of Life). Findings indicated that karate practitioners reported higher quality of life in physical, psychological, and environmental dimensions, while football players excelled in the social dimension. The research suggests that further exploration of these relationships, particularly in the context of motivation and socio-demographic factors, could enhance understanding of healthy lifestyle promotion.
