Abstract
Terminator: Resistance is a video game developed by Polish developer Teyon. The game is set in the aftermath of the nuclear holocaust caused by Skynet, where humanity is fighting against the machines. Players assume the role of Jacob Rivers, a private in the Resistance who is targeted by Skynet. While the game attempts to bring the fiction of the Terminator films to life, it falls short in comparison to Teyon's more recent game, RoboCop: Rogue City. The game features open-ended scouting missions, stealth and survival systems, and linear shooting galleries. While it has some fun moments, the game is flawed and lacks balance between staying true to the setting and delivering the action demanded by a shooter. [Extracted from the article]
