Abstract
A recent study conducted by researchers at Charles University of Prague examined the impact of religion and spirituality on mental health among young adults in the Czech Republic. The study found that forgiveness and the depth of one's personal religious or spiritual history were the most influential factors. Forgiveness was associated with an increase in self-blame and a decrease in refocusing and planning, while a deeper personal religious history was associated with self-blame, rumination, and refocusing. The findings suggest that religious and spiritual beliefs may play a key role in how people experience and manage the emotional burdens of life. [Extracted from the article]
