Abstract

Alumni were surveyed in spring 2021 as the Department celebrated the 100 SP th sp graduate from the PhD program. They offer special appreciation to key program staff, including former program administrator Michele Campbell, who retired in spring 2022 after 30 years with the Gerontology program; current program manager Martin Hansen-Verma; and finance director Josephine Sturgis, who also recently retired. Program Curriculum The PhD program curriculum is designed to give graduates command of a broad body of specialized knowledge in aging and social policy.
