Abstract
The article focuses on Azerbaijan's oil transportation statistics for the period from January to November 2025, highlighting the significant role of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) export oil pipeline. During this timeframe, a total of 33.4 million tons of oil were transported, with the BTC pipeline accounting for 74.6% of this volume, specifically 24.9 million tons. Azerbaijan contributed 21.2 million tons, representing 85.1% of the oil transported through the BTC, while Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan together contributed 3.7 million tons. The BTC pipeline, which spans 1,768 kilometers, was constructed to facilitate oil transport from the Caspian Sea region to international markets, with its operation overseen by BTC Co., which includes various international shareholders.
