Abstract

The African Development Bank held an Open Day for civil society organizations in the Central African Republic (CAR) to strengthen its partnership with non-state actors and promote inclusive and sustainable development. The event, the first of its kind for CAR, brought together high-level representatives from the government, civil society organizations, and the African Development Bank. Participants discussed collaboration between the Bank, the government, and civil society organizations to enhance the impact of the Bank's projects in CAR, including the need for standardized monitoring mechanisms and capacity-building programs. The Open Day signifies an important step in strengthening the partnership between the Bank, the CAR government, and civil society to support the country's development. [Extracted from the article]
