Abstract
The 19th Congress of the International Society for Folk Narrative Research was held in Riga, Latvia, focusing on "Folk Narratives in the Changing World." Keynote lectures explored various aspects of narrative folklore, including water deities, digital orality, and fairy tales. Committee sessions covered belief narratives, charms, and folk narratives in literature and media. The Congress highlighted the importance of folk narratives in understanding societal changes and crises, emphasizing the dynamic nature of narratives in an ever-changing world.
