Abstract
This article examines the digital activism and resistance strategies of Mujeres de Zonas de Sacrificio en Resistencia (MUZOSARE), a collective of women activists in Chile's environmental sacrifice zones, particularly Quintero-Puchuncaví. It explores how these women articulate an ethics of care that extends beyond domestic spheres to encompass collective responsibility for environmental justice, health, and community well-being, using digital media to challenge dominant necropolitical and biopolitical governance that marginalizes their communities. Through qualitative digital ethnography and discourse analysis of social media and press content, the study highlights MUZOSARE's role in reshaping narratives around environmental harm, fostering transnational solidarity, and contesting mainstream media invisibility and misrepresentation. The findings contribute to feminist political ecology by demonstrating how digital platforms serve as crucial spaces for marginalized groups to assert agency, promote intersectional environmental activism, and resist extractivist policies in Chile's socio-environmental conflicts.
