Abstract
The article focuses on the industrial production and service output in Baku, which totaled 3.6 billion manat ($2.12 billion). According to data from the Baku City Statistics Department, mining constituted 70% of industrial products, followed by manufacturing at 25.1%, electricity, gas, and steam production at 3.8%, and water supply and waste treatment at 1.1%. The private sector accounted for 83.3% of industrial activity, with industrial products making up 86.4% of total production and services 13.6%. As of February 1, 2026, industrial enterprises held finished goods worth 431.8 million manat ($254 million) and other products valued at 39.9 million manat ($23.47 million) in their warehouses.
