Abstract
The article provides a sketch of theatre development in the Yukon. Information is presented about the establishment of Yukon Government-wide arts policy, creation of the Gwaandak Theatre, productions by the Ramshackle Theatre, the Theatre for Young People Society and its offshoot Candlestick Theatre, embrace of digital technologies by Yukon theatremakers to boost professionalism, and the presence of school and community-based youth theatre programs that empower and teach theatre kids.
