Abstract

A deadly fire broke out at a military ammunition depot in Chad's capital, N'Djamena, causing weapons to fire into the air. The blasts were heard miles away and projectiles turned the sky red and black as they detonated. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and the government has urged the population to remain calm. At least 9 people have died and the death toll is expected to rise as many of the injured are in critical condition. There have been accusations on social media accusing France of being behind the blasts, but these claims have been deemed false. [Extracted from the article]
