Abstract

The article discusses the use of fibreoptic intubation in children and young people in resource-limited settings, specifically during a humanitarian aid operation in Guinea. The study describes a case series of patients who underwent fibreoptic intubation using a simplified technique during a medical mission. The procedure was successful in all patients, and the approach was deemed effective and safe in this context. The authors highlight the challenges of managing difficult airways in children during humanitarian missions and emphasize the importance of adapting techniques to local conditions.
