Abstract
A recent study published in Nature explores how dinosaurs rose to dominance on Earth by analyzing fossilized dung and vomit found in the Polish Basin. By examining coprolites, regurgitalites, and cololites, researchers reconstructed ancient food chains and identified dietary patterns of various dinosaur species. The study sheds light on how dinosaurs outcompeted other lineages and evolved into giants, providing new insights into ancient ecosystems and the rise of dinosaurs as the dominant animals on the planet.
