Abstract

The American Fisheries Society is hosting its 154th Annual Meeting in Honolulu, Hawai'i from September 15-19, 2024. The theme of the meeting is "Conserving Fishes and Fishing Traditions through Knowledge Co-Production," and it will bring together professionals from North America, the Pacific Islands, and around the world to discuss fisheries conservation and management. Early bird registration ends on July 19, 2024, and there are discounted rates for AFS members. The meeting will take place at the Hawai'i Convention Center, which offers a variety of meeting and exhibition spaces. Attendees can choose from several hotels, including the Ala Moana Hotel, Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort, Romer Waikiki at The Ambassador, Courtyard Waikiki Beach, and Doubletree by Hilton Alana—Waikiki Beach.
