Abstract

Since 2013, a Roma team from Backi Monoštor has been participating in the Serbian Cricket Federation's competitions, demonstrating inclusivity in Serbian cricket. Afghan migrants and refugees have also been playing cricket in Serbia for the past 10 years, either with improvised equipment or for clubs in Belgrade. The Serbian Cricket Federation has organized cricket activities for refugees, including at an asylum center in Obrenovac. The majority of participants in the 2022 Lions League were Afghan, and the league received the ICC Development Initiative of the Year Award for Europe. Extracted from the article
