Abstract

Australia has signed a treaty with Nauru that grants Canberra veto power over security and infrastructure partnerships, countering China's strategic influence in the region. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Nauru's President David Adeang announced the agreement, which strengthens bilateral relations.
