Abstract
This article examines the impact of a newly developed Arabic language learning software, Test Survey for Students (TSFS), on improving reading comprehension, word and sentence, and dictation skills among third-grade female students in Qatar using Science, Technology, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) subjects. Employing a quasi-experimental design with control and experimental groups, the study found that students using TSFS showed statistically significant improvements in all three language skills compared to those taught by traditional methods. Interviews with participants indicated increased motivation, autonomous learning, and enhanced communication skills, although some students preferred paper-based materials. The research highlights TSFS as a culturally adapted, interactive CALL (Computer-Assisted Language Learning) tool with potential for broader application in Arabic language education across the Middle East and North Africa region.
