Abstract

The article reports on the history, successes and future directions of project called Finding Dragons in Boise, which aims to monitor Odonata in the Boise River Watershed in Idaho. A background is provided on the founding of Finding Dragons in Boise. It highlights the partnership of Finding Dragons in Boise with Boise Parks and Recreation program and the expansion of the project into molecular biology through collaborations with high school students and Pond Watch Program volunteers.
