"Mauritania is facing recurrent climate shocks that have a major impact on people's lives as well as on the country's infrastructure and economy as a whole. According to the sixth edition of the I World Bank's Economic Update i on Mauritania, the country's growth rate accelerated, jumping from 2.4% in 2021 to 5.2% in 2022, boosted by a significant increase in exports and resilience in consumer spending.
