Abstract

The article analyzes global industrial diamond production in 2024, focusing on the dominance of synthetic diamonds which accounted for 99% of total output. Topics include emerging applications of chemical vapor deposition diamond in advanced technologies, U.S. consumption and trade patterns; and projected market shifts as natural diamond mines reach depletion.
