Abstract

The article describes the case of a Japanese baby boy with a birthweight of 2826 grams, delivered at 38 weeks of gestation by vacuum delivery, without any perinatal abnormalities. Topics discussed the boy's hospitalization from five days of age more than once a month for high fever and oral ulcers, his treatment based on a diagnosis of Bechet's disease, and conclusion on the effectiveness of thalidomide for treating refractory gastrointestinal lesions caused by A20 haploinsufficiency (HA20).
