Abstract
XRHealth, in partnership with Nord-Space Aps and HTC VIVE, has developed a virtual reality (VR) headset to treat mental health conditions in astronauts during space missions. The VR therapy will be used by Danish astronaut Andreas Mogensen during his 6-8 month mission with NASA Crew-7. The VIVE Focus 3 headset has been specially adapted to work in the microgravity environment of space, overcoming challenges such as motion sickness and tracking issues. This groundbreaking initiative aims to address the isolation and stress experienced by astronauts and promote their mental well-being during space missions. [Extracted from the article]
