Abstract
Researchers from the Medical University of Lodz have conducted a review on Passiflora incarnata, commonly known as passionflower, as an adjunctive treatment for anxiety and sleep disorders. The review found significant evidence supporting its anxiolytic, sedative, and antidepressant properties, with minimal adverse effects reported. While promising, further high-quality research is needed to standardize its use in managing neuropsychiatric disorders. The study was published in Quality in Sport, and more information can be obtained from the Medical University of Lodz. [Extracted from the article]
