Abstract

Researchers at the University of Gujrat conducted a study to develop and validate a Schizotypal Personality Disorder Scale (STPDS) in Urdu language. The study involved 234 participants from clinical and non-clinical populations in Gujrat, Pakistan, and demonstrated strong psychometric properties for the 27-item STPDS. The scale showed excellent reliability and construct validity, making it a valuable tool for assessing schizotypal personality disorder in clinical and non-clinical settings. The research provides a significant contribution to the field of mental health and may aid in future research and diagnosis in this area. [Extracted from the article]
