Abstract
The article focuses on how organizational support for adoptive parents (OSFA) positively impacts employees, their families, and employers. OSFA includes financial reimbursement for adoption expenses, paid leave, flexible work arrangements, managerial support, connection to adoption networks, and celebrating the adoption event. Research shows that such support enhances employee job satisfaction, organizational commitment, family functioning, and attachment between adopted children and parents. Providing OSFA is presented as a meaningful, often low-cost way for leaders to support adoptive employees and promote family well-being.
