Abstract
The Resuscitation Council UK has published an update of its resuscitation guidelines, which describe how to care for patients who need cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), or who are at risk of sudden deterioration and cardiac arrest. The changes reflect best practice in resuscitation and emergency care, and some will affect how nurses should provide such support. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
