Abstract
The article discusses a rare case of a 16-year-old male student with white paint dot-like lesions on his scrotum caused by Microsporum gypseum, a geophilic fungus. The patient was immunocompetent and did not have a history of direct contact with soil or animals, raising questions about the source of the infection. Treatment with oral itraconazole and topical bifonazole cream led to complete resolution of the lesions. The article emphasizes the importance of timely mycological examinations and accurate diagnostic methods to prevent misdiagnosis and ensure effective treatment. [Extracted from the article]
