Abstract

The article describes the case of a 63-year-old Palestinian male with seronegative rheumatoid arthritis suffering from polyarthritis of small and large joints. He was given low-dose steroids and methotrexate for treatment and continued prednisolone. He was also given sulfasalazine but developed a non-pruritic rash that affected his lower limbs. Sulfasalazine was stopped and skin biopsy was performed, which showed features of leukocytoclastic vasculitis.
