Abstract
This article reports on a rare case of morular metaplasia (MM) in a gastric adenoma. MM is a condition characterized by syncytial sheets of bland cells with round nuclei that often contain empty, round, biotin-rich nuclear inclusions. The article discusses the morphological, immunohistochemical, and molecular characteristics of MM, as well as its association with the Wnt/β-catenin pathway. The presence of MM in gastric neoplasms may be linked to limited malignant progression risk, and further research is needed to understand its biological behaviors and molecular bases.
