Abstract
This article focuses on a bibliometric study examining trends in scientific research on "decent work" before and after its inclusion as a goal in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Conducted by researchers at the University of Algarve using the Scopus platform, the study identifies a thematic shift from focusing on globalization’s impact on job quality in developing countries to broader issues such as gender dynamics, corporate responsibility, pandemics, and meaningful work. Funded by FundacaO Para A Ciencia E A Tecnologia, the research provides insights into the evolving concept of decent work and offers valuable directions for future studies in this field.
